My dear friend Jodi from college or now known as Autumn Skye in the burlesque world from "The Strip Teasers," in NY to Hen House Entertianment in Florida, came out to the studio for a visit. She brought suitcases like she was moving in for her shoot! The most anyone has brought so far. We laughed and took breaks and of course had some wine...you simply can't not enjoy some wine while enjoying the company of old friends. 

Miss Autumn Skye is the "mama Hen" of Hen House Entertainment, a burlesque and drag king troupe for the LGBTQ community based in Fort Myers Florida. She started Hen House after she moved to Southwest Florida in November 2010 from New York, as a simple way to meet people. It started out as a mission to find like minded people who shared her love for performance and burlesque and fun, and turned into something bigger than she had even dreamed. Now the sky is the limit. The goal of Autumn Skye and Hen House Entertainment is to spread equality awareness and acceptance through a variety of vaudevillian style performances. (Burlesque, drag kings, drag queens, stilt walkers, fire dancers, cabaret singers, and more.)

Jodi {Autumn Skye} is professionally trained in performance and instruction of all sorts of dance from ballet, jazz and tap to competitive hip hop, ballroom and salsa. (yes there are many other styles she knows, you are going to have to check out her website for more specifics.) 

Hen House Entertainment puts on a monthly show called "Cirque Du So Gay"  at The Bottom Line. You can find such an amazing collection of talent amongst the performers, i suggest making it out there for a show some time. Lots of love and hard work is poured into every show.
