A Backyard Maternity Session
I have known Veronica for 5 years now. I have seen her kids grow up and adore their are sweet little faces as much as my own children's. when she got pregnant with the third and told me when we were at the gym, i knew instantly that I had to be the one photographing her this time. I couldn't wait for the privilege to capture this possibly last pregnancy.
Fast Forward 9 months, technically it was 8 months but the rain storms of Florida put quiet a damper on things. We pushed it back and back and then, a week before baby was due, we agreed Friday would be the day and rain or shine, we'd make it work! So it was a perfect day, the sun was shining, everyone was ready to go. Of course, it started raining as soon as i stepped foot in her front door.
Laughing some time away we decided her outdoor porch would work great. Lots of light and we could rock it. With her hubbies help, we were able to hang the netting we envisioned for outside, inside instead. The rain faded and we headed outside fora good 5 minutes before it came back around and chase us indoors. It broke again for a few minutes at the end to run right back out there and try some other things, but mother nature did not want us hanging outside that day! In the end, we got some gorgeous shots for her and even though we got a little wet-it made for a great memory for their home.

Hands down my favorite mother daughter image. The curiosity of a little on the love and smiles of a toothless big one, a child's love is immense and amazing.
Because I needed a light tester and a very willing little one wanted to sit for me.
