Family Session at Medard Park

The Bakers are a family I have known for years. I photographed mama bear when she was pregnant with her second when I was just getting my bearings, have had many play dates over the years, and she still comes back for family photos. This year we headed to Medard Park for some fun. Mother nature didn't catch the memo that the weather was supposed to be cooler so as we trekked across the bridge and baked in the sunshine on the pier, we figured out fast, that shade was naturally the best option this time. We quickly retreated and got some absolutely beautiful photos for their walls this year. On the other plus side, we all got in some walking exercise that day, saw a bunch of gators and birds and got our Vitamin D in. You can't be mad about that! Plus gators! They are always really cool to see...at a distance.
