AN indoor garden maternity session. Simple and beautiful results.
We are both in a facebook DIY group where i saw her post about her system and just loved the idea so much that i HAD to have her share with the rest of the world! *She shopped at Menards which is her local hardware store-a Home Depot or Lowes should also carry these materials* So Here is her awesome system that works great and a couple of bonus quickie tutorials for you as well!
I saw this bag of Spanish Moss, and was drawn to it by the textures and shapes and decided i needed to do something with it. I had some maternity sessions coming up and thought, nature-babies are natural-mother nature....and soon the ideas were flowing.
This blond babe is already a mom to two sweet girls and is very pregnant with her little boy. Miss Danielle kicks ass in the super mom category and was a ton of fun to work with-
So you have your session booked, (or maybe still thinking about it,) and you are thinking-holy shit, i don't know how to pose-what in the world am i going to do? Let me first inform you that your photographer should be prepared and very skilled in posing you, so you should have nothing to worry about! You will be given direction and coached and encouraged throughout the whole experience. Here are some tips to help you out as you relax and be a little more comfortable in front of the camera-because if you aren't a professional model, then you probably freeze up like the majority of the world does when a camera is pointed in your direction!
You came into this world in a hurry, 3 weeks early actually. The Giants had just won the Superbowl the evening before, and all the excitement from prepping for our Superbowl party and our team winning had me in labor and i hadn't known it until 3 am the next morning. I woke with a pain i recognized immediately and waited. Then another and another, but still i waited. I wanted to make sure this was real contractions and they certainly were. After 14 contractions in less than an hour, i knew it was very much time to get a move on. I woke your daddy and while he thought it wasn't rush time at first, i assured him i was overdue to be at the hospital and we hustled! Luckily the hospital was only 5 mins from the house and he dropped us off first-then went and dropped your brother off for a long early play date at our friends house while you came into the world.
When deciding on an experience to choose, decide if you want it to empower her or reconnect you with her, or both! Have something more in mind? Let 's discuss it further. Giving her the gift of boudoir while a gift for you, is a journey of empowerment and rediscovering confidence that you can only know once you have had your session!
This is a huge announcement for J Morgan images, a step towards a bigger goal of Jessica Edler on her journey, that she can not wait to share with you. Who we aren't is a.....
It was January and the perfect weather day right after a cold snap. Up north may have been freezing but down here the west coast of florida, it was in the 80s. The photoshoot was apart of our (The Tampa Shutter Sisters,) monthly meetup. I don't know if there was a theme, but it was pretty girls in pretty dresses. There were 7 of us photographers total, and 2 models. Lucy's dresses adorned the fair skin of the girls, and we just had fun.
Markie is not only a mom and mom to be, but the owner of the awesome hair salon, Salon Agape in Palm Harbor Florida. She was super easy to talk to and it was a really great session overall. I had her throwing fabric, (biggest reason she thought i was a nut job, HA,) and the end result of some sunlight and fabric throwing lace curtains and more can be seen below.
Make any type of image you want. If you are a food Photographer, pet photographer, children photographer or whatever photographer-play to your strengths and have fun! There is no good or bad, there is no right or wrong, this is solely for fun and to learn and challenge yourselves/each other. All are welcome to grow with us on our challenge journey!
We scoped out the dresses Lucy had fashioned, and went over the make up concepts and my heart kind of fluttered and the same time i was nervous. Having the camera(s) pointed at me in all seriousness was something new. I like a challenge though, so bring it on. I was in hair and makeup for 2 hours including the fancy airbrushing and hair skills of B. Moore Artistry then we drove with very dark clouds looming overhead to New college, and i sowre it was going to start downpouring the entire way there. It drizzled a bit and then simply went away leaving a perfectly cloudy sky.
By the way, I was waling through Dillard's last week and there was an entire spanx section, and before i even realized it was spanx-i was sifting through the amazing (new to me) styles that they have-wow, when did spanx become sexy?!
I love working with women who are survivors, i love to be apart of your life to help support you and help you find beauty in yourself after. Please let me know if i can help you on your journey, before, during and after. i want to tell your story.
What to wear wednesday is back, and to kick off the new year, let's welcome it in style...tuxedo fashion that is! Check it out, then go try it out!
She showed up with so many outfits it made my head spin...and i wanted to photograph her in ALL of them. Clearly we had to narrow it down. Through the shoot we ended up figuring out that our husbands know each other and that we do in fact live in such a small world that our paths were bound to cross at some point. *and i am so super glad that they crossed this way.* Lady E i can not wait until next time and to see what you bring.
So its way into holiday time...actually only 2 days until Christmas that i write this. My kids are watching their morning cartoons, i am trying to wake up, and across my facebook newsfeed i read about a friend who's daughter asked her Why all the Santas she sees are different. I thought the blog would be a good place to answer this honest and oh so innocent question.
