Cute Cuban restaurant with a comfortable feel. Solid 4 stars. Would go again.
Dinner was a family affair and the chaos of a random eight person party showing up did not slow them down.
Bread promptly devoured and the plantain chips with garlic sauce also disappeared in moments.
Croquetas were not my favorite, the inner texture always throws me off. Chorizo, beautifully done.
Overall the dinner was a success. The best meal hands down was the smoked porkchops followed by the vaca frita. The fried pork was a bit well done and was the least favorite of all along with the tostones which were too dry to eat. Oxtail was juicy and the deserts were sweet and disappeared faster than I could find out what were. Lechon assada was flavorful. tender, and moist
The hot chocolate dip for the churros was amazing, I'd dip almost anything in that and eat it! Natilla was a sweet custard treat, a real compliment to dinner.
